Lok Kawi Wildlife Park and Monkey Tops Safari
We left the hotel around 12pm, had lunch at some chinese restaurant then headed off to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park. It took us half and hour to get there by van. And when we arrived, i took out my camera and shot almost all the animals there. The park had the usual common animals such as elephants, tigers, sunbears, monkeys, birds etc. All that i've seen before when i visited Zoo Negara earlier this year. So overall, i wasn't very hyped about the tour. Although, there was one particular animal that caught my eye, the proboscis monkey. It is only found in Borneo and has a kinda big ass nose.
After about an hour there, my legs were getting tired, so we decided it was time to continue our journey to the Monkey Tops Safari which is a 2 hour drive from the zoo! OMG! Drive all the way there just to see the wild proboscis monkeys and fireflies?! Oh well, it was all worthwile cos the fireflies, ahhh very pretty! A whole lot of them on a tree made it look like a christmas tree, bright and sparkly!
We arrived there early, had to wait for other tourists to come. Plus, the monkeys don't come out when the sun is still so high up, probably about 5pm when the sun is setting then only we can see them. Meanwhile, my sister and i tried the garra rufa fish therapy. Geez it was ticklish as hell when like 10 fishes are "eating" my dead skin cells. Really cannot tahan after a few seconds.
I bet i don't have to mention this, it's clear from the pictures! The weather is AWESOME! No rain to spoil our outdoor tour for the past 4 days. Imagine if it was raining? The beach, mangrove, rafting all were not possible.
Look at the wonderful colours of the sunset. Btw, the sunsets about an hour earlier in Sabah. By 6.30pm it's pitch black already. Therefore, it's time for the fireflies to shine, or... i dunno what word to use.
And that, concludes my 4D 3N tour in Sabah. The next few days were spent at my dad's apartment, pigging out and watching CSI NY.

This is the seafood dinner my dad promised us. We went to Port View, one of the most popular seafood restaurants in KK. Every night at 8pm, they have a cultural show which features pretty women and half-naked men. The service was great, food came in less than 15 minutes although the place was packed. Soft shell crab and cheese baked lobsters are yummy beyond words! Despite the not so appetizing presentation, the sabah vegetables are seriously above average, it doesn't have the disgusting, bland vege taste. I'm craving for seafood as i'm typing this!!! Screw diet lah.
Me. At Karamunsing Kompleks, equivalent to Low Yat Plaza. My dad's favourite hang out place during the weekends. And yes, i look like a slacker cos sabahans are verryyy casual. I swear i will never be caught like this in KL.

X'mas decorations in 1Borneo. Located just below my dad's apartment. How fab is that!! I kinda like it, very colourful, much nicer than 1Utama's boring white theme. I want to go Pavilion again to snap more pictures of their x'mas deco before it's all gone. Also to get my baby. *prays hard it is not sold out* or i'll kill someone. Haha. Yes i'm that desperate. Blame the dramas.
THE END of my vacation to sabah.
